Hello,

I don't know anything about the '&' carriage control character,
but carriage control is dead. It was never portable, and if
Fortran had to standardize a set of device driver control codes,
it would never be for a 1960s vintage printer.

F2000 does not support carriage control, this doesn't even count
as a revision because no compiler ever had to support carriage control
on any particular unit, anyway.
