Hi all=0D
I am using Win95 version 4.00950 B.=0D
=0D
In a DOS-box I can open 33 files without having any FILES=3Dxx, FCBCs=3Dyy =
and BUFFERS=3Dzz statement in CONFIG.SYS.=0D
Putting a line FILES=3D50 increases the maximum number of open files to 53=
!! (=3D an increase of 20 files).=0D
I bit confusing result.=0D
=0D
With regard to Terence's observation of the FILES-problem with Win95, I=0D
suggest it is a corrupt Win95 installation.=0D
