What I would have liked this Christmas is for your Fortran .net compiler to map the normal Fortran file operations through the .net file IO routines.
The market advantage I am currently enjoying for Win32 is slowly disappearing because the industry in question is moving over to handheld devices (Windows CE).
Unfortunately I have to work with Fortan subroutines which I am not allowed to modify (licensing / legal issues), but cannot use on CE because the file IO fails.
Please implement this very soon. If I cannot implement a handheld .net version of my product it will be the end of it :(
