I've completed the product installation and now the compiler tells me it needs to be activated. How do I activate my installation of LF Fortran?

By default, the Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran v7.1 product is installed with licenses set up to expire after an evaluation period. To continue using a purchased product, the licenses must be activated.

Activation can be done automatically using an internet connection or manually by contacting Lahey.

For more detail see Product License Activation in the installation guide included with the product. This information is also available in the online help within Visual Studio and at http://www.lahey.com/docs/lfprohelp/f95gsactivation.htm.

With LF Express activation directions are included in the User's Guide which is available on the CD. Open it from the Online Manuals link from the main installation dialog. The User's Guide is located in the following directory on the CD: D:\WinRoot\LF9571\Manuals. Installation directions start on page 3 of the User's Guide. Directions for License Activation begin on page 9. Directions for Manual Activation (without internet) begin on page 13.
