"Error 1311.Source file not found: D:\LAHEY-~5\DemoEval.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."

Yesterday I tried to install "LF Professional v7.1 Update" on my computer. I did not remove any program. Instead I run the file "LFSetup.exe" on the CD-"LF Fortran v7.1". Then, I chose "Install Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran v7.1", A message popped up on the screen:
"This mashine does not have a supported version of the following application installed:
Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)"
I thought that is not a problem for me, so I continued by pressing "ok".

Then a serious message popped up:

"Error 1311.Source file not found: D:\LAHEY-~5\DemoEval.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."

I pressed "Retry" several times, but it popped up all the time. Then I pressed "Cancel' and the installation was rolled back and stopped. However, I have found the file is on the CD (it is zipped). Now I don't now what to do. In addition, It seems that some parts of the
version v7.0 are deleted. Could you give me some detailed information how to proceed.

Best Wishes,

Leif Kari

We are unable to determine the cause. It could be anything from a dirty or bad CD to a bug in the installation software.

The installation should start when you put the CD in the drive. Besides that you have followed the correct steps for updating to LF v7.1. It is o.k. to "Skip" the IIS installation for the Professional edition of LF v7.1. The LF v7.1 update will uninstall LF v7.0.

The file referenced in the error message includes the demo and evaluation software packages. They are not needed to use the product. As a work around configure the install to skip this software.

Start the installation again and when prompted select Custom Setup. Then de-select Demo and Evaluation Tools from both the Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran for .NET and Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran 95 categories so that the feature will not be available.
