if i try open the "scratch" files (LF 95 v5.5 , Windows HP Home), program stop with I/O Error 2 "No such file or directory".
I have not these problem earlier (on Windows 98) and now on the other computer (Windows XP Pro).

Check your TMP environment variable:
1) It needs to define a folder that exists with write permissions.
2) It might need to be a folder name without spaces for LF95 v5.5.
3) If the TMP environment variable is not defined, the scratch file will be created on the root of the drive.

If that doesn't help, please post the part of your code that opens and uses the scratch file.
