The MSI file is compressed into the setup.exe file on the Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran v7.0 CD. Follow these steps to extract the MSI file and all the other files from setup.exe:
[list=1]
Put the Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran v7.0 CD into the CD drive.
Select Run from the Start menu.
Enter
d:\Lahey-Fujitsu\setup.exe /a
(where d: is your CD drive letter) and press OK.
When the dialog titled Network Location appears, enter a new folder name for a drive with more than 110 MB free space, then press Install.
The License Activation program might be invoked at the completion of the installation - disregard any error messages and cancel or close any dialogs that are presented.
When the installation is complete, enter the folder specified above in the prompt of the maintenance update install.
You may delete the folder containing the extracted MSI file, and all its subfolders, after the maintenance update completes successfully.

Note: The maintenance update installation only prompts for the MSI file when a file in the product has been modified. It is designed to repair those files. Because the update (patch) does not contain all files of the product, it needs access to the original installation database and source.
